Whelpley Hill village is located just off the B4505 close to Bovingdon airfield. It is based on an Anglo Saxon Hill Fort and has a fine pub (The White Hart), delightful houses and a mobile home park. The Chiltern Heritage Trail footpath passes right through the village and there is a wide range of other footpaths and bridleways to enjoy.

The church of St. Michael and All Angels is in Whelpley Hill, although now a private house. The village hall (Coronation Hall) is available for hire and, together with the pub, is the hub of our community and hosts a range of activities.
