Pudds Cross

The Boxmoor Trust has agreed to assume the ownership and management of the Pudds Cross site from the Bovingdon Brickworks. This site of approximately forty acres, which was previously used for clay extraction, will become a conservation area to provide a diverse range of habitats for wildlife and a safe peaceful place for people to visit.
As well as being a place for relaxation with seats and observation hides the Trust hopes to extend its programme of environment education giving residents and children the opportunity to see how chemical free management can help wildlife.
