There are no rules. We are the Get-Along-Gang and our success and strength has
been in the fact we get on together and help one another.
-
We meet every Wednesday at the Green Dragon (Flaunden).
And most other sessions as well!
-
When on convoy stay as in a grid formation. 1-2, 3-4
etc. This makes awareness and vision easier.
-
No speeding in villages/towns or excessive noise -
we're not 16-year-olds.
-
No excessive swearing in company!
-
Any roundabouts or X-roads, assume straight-on unless
told or visually indicated different. (Donald this means go around, see Beacon Riders Training School).
-
When overtaking a line of cars - if road is clear,
stay out to indicate the road is clear to inform others behind. When pulling-in,
make space for your partner or follower.
-
If you cannot turn up on time at a ride, let a senior
officer know and make alternative arrangements to meet on-route.
-
We always, on rides, leave no later than 15-minutes
after arranged time.
-
Fill-up before starting the trip and refill/top-up
whenever the rest of the platoon does.
-
Starting point/ending point will be the Green Dragon
unless previously stated!
-
No pissing, flashing or mooning in public.
-
Don't use G.A.G as an excuse for extra-marital
relationships or extra-marital relationships as an excuse for non-attendance
of G.A.G trips.
-
What goes on tour - Stays on tour!
-
If a member of the platoon is AWOL for a period excess of two months
without good reason, his position will be up for grabs by any other member. Should this happen he will automatically
be considered a POW.
-
Any guest will be considered a POW until accepted by the platoon, where-upon
he/she will be a Private and thus elegible for promotion as a platoon member. See list
-
To be considered by the platoon for Private, a POW must eat a 'No 3'.!
