Bovingdon Baptist Church: Who are we?
A community of followers of Jesus Christ:

* learning to follow more closely

* seeking to share God’s love with the village of Bovingdon through our prayers and service

* living the life of worship in our everyday lives

WEEKLY SUNDAY WORSHIP, 10.30 am – 11.45 am:

  • relaxed and informal services built around Worship and the Word
  • week by week we are encouraged, challenged, changed and helped by the teachings of Jesus and the things we read in the bible
  • school-age children stay in for the first 15 minutes, then have a ‘Sunday Club’ which helps them discover the relevance of the bible for themselves
  • our songs and prayers have a modern, everyday feel to them
  • we have baby toys and a rug available for babies/toddlers so that they and their parents can stay in church for the service
  • each week, Fairtrade filter coffee is served after the service and people stay and chat
  • prayer is also available after the service, for any who require it
  • we usually have a Communion Service on the 2nd Sunday of the month
