Bovingdon & District Horticultural Society

Bovingdon & District Horticultural Society was first established in 1927 and is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.  We now have our own website at http://www.bovingdonhortsoc.org.uk/

The society was originally set up for the encouragement and improvement of the best fruit, the most choice flowers and the most useful culinary vegetables. Current members of the Society continue to share a common interest in gardens, gardening and local horticulture.  We seek to promote, encourage and support a wide range of horticultural and gardening interests.  As we receive no external funding we rely on donations and members’ subscriptions to fund our work and activities.

Whatever your level of interest, knowledge or experience, you are assured of a warm and friendly welcome. Throughout the year we have interesting speakers, demonstrations, plant sales and specialist orders. We hold three Flower and Craft Shows each year and arrange regular visits to wonderful gardens and nurseries throughout the year.

We look forward to gardening with you!
