Please help save the Village Brownie Pack

There has been a temporary team running 2nd Bovingdon Brownies for over a year now and they are standing down at the end of 2010.  New Leaders had been found for the pack but they have had a last minute change of heart and Brownies will cease to exist in Bovingdon at the end of the year unless new Leaders can be found.

This is an established, full pack of Brownies with a waiting list to join.  It is based in the Infant School Hall at Bovingdon Primary and runs on a Tuesday evening for 1½ hours in term time.

A small team of enthusiastic volunteer “Owls” is needed to keep the pack running.  You will be given support by the District and local guiding team and full training will also be given.

If you or someone you know can step in to keep the Bovingdon Brownie pack running, please contact Frances Evershed on 01442 832236 or Ruth Brown on 01442 834865.

 Thank you.
