You may be aware of the planning to modernise Little Hay Golf Complex, which includes construction of a multi-shot driving range and water features. Construction traffic is planned to be via Upper Bourne End Lane (from Macdonalds services on the A41).
Site route to Little Hay via Upper Bourne End Lane, rather than Box Lane
This will effect access to the properties and businesses at the top of the lane and Runways Farm.
Construction traffic will comprise the importation of recovered soils brought to the site using tipper wagons.
The duration of the construction phase is anticipated to be in the order of 18 months with about 420 deliveries of material expected per week.
During the summer holidays the paintball site also has some 300 cars every day.
