Various crew and crew vehicles will be arriving on site early on the morning of the 16th in order to prepare for the filming which will take place between 21.00 and 23.00. The filming includes fireworks and a camera drone.

I am writing from USA. In March 1945, there was a mid-air collision between two aircraft just south of Bovingdon. All on board were lost. Next March (2020) will be the 75th anniversary of that loss. Family members of the American crew members would like to hold some remembrance on that day.
Is there a Bovingdon Historical Society or Group that maintains the history of the airfield?

I would appreciate any information.
